I’ve wanted to do a post like this for the longest time. So last Wednesday I turned 20, I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday as it was spent with the best people! I decided to have two outfits and they came together just as I wanted. I opted for two outfits as I wanted a casual outfit to start with and end my birthday in a pair of heels (maybe it wasn’t such a good idea..?)

Afternoon outfit:

Grey tailored high waisted trousers – Pieces. I’ve wanted a pair of dark almost charcoal trousers for the longest time. I love how these looked on! I rolled up the bottoms of the trousers to give them a more casual look and it worked perfectly for what I had in mind.

Trim Face T-shirt-  New look. I wanted this t-shirt from New Look when it was originally released but couldn’t get my hands on it then I found it in the sale and honestly I was so happy because this was perfect for my outfit. The pink tassel matched the pink within my shoes so well. The portrait on the t-shirt was so cool that I had to have it – I mean it’s so in trend at the minute and I’m all for it.

Medium vinyl bag – Zara. I’ve mentioned this bag in a previous post but my obsession continues. I love how you can dress this bag up and down as to why I used it both in the afternoon as well as the evening. I put in all my essentials from my purse to my favourite perfume and I mean it looked pretty cool if you ask me.

Adidas Originals Falcons – JD Sports. My current obsession for my feet are these Adidas falcons, I haven’t loved a pair of Adidas sneakers since the superstars and I know I’m going be stepping in these all day everyday. They are super comfy and I mean who isn’t loving a dad sneaker at the moment?

Evening outfit:

 

Grey tailored high waisted trousers – Pieces. I chose to keep my trousers the same for my evening look. I was a bit worried at first but it all came together quite nicely at the end. As the trousers were just so comfy I didn’t want change into jeans and I think this decision was perfect as I was comfy all evening.

Black t-shirt – Stradivarius. I opted to wear a plain black t-shirt to give the evening look a more classy and elegant vibe. I love the basic t-shirts stradivarius do. They’re such a nice fit and super good quality.

Black tailored blazer – H&M. I didn’t want to wear a big coat so I decided to throw a blazer over my shoulders to almost get that suit vibe but not as a matching set ofcourse. I love the whole blazer smart trend at the minute so it was fab for creating just the look I wanted.

Black cross strap block heels – New look. These heels are my go to as they are the only ones I can walk in comfortably (my girls who love sneakers can relate right?) They’re just the right height and look so classy. I prefer a block heel compared to a stiletto as I think it just suites me more, not to mention it is so much easier.

Gold layered necklace – New look. I’ve wanted a layered gold necklace forever it seems and when I spotted this is New Look I had to get it. It matched the gold detailing on the shoes perfectly as well as my hoops. I love the dog tag inspired necklace within it, it’s quite chunky and such a staple.

Gold heart hoops – Primark. I picked these up for only £2 and I mean I’m in love I think i’ll be wearing these at every occasion I get. They are abit more quirky compared to your normal hoops and that’s why I love them!

Medium Vinyl bag – Zara. Finally last but not least I again went for my vinyl for the evening look too as this bag just goes with every fit no matter what the occasion. It just gives me all kind of Valentino vibes. Vinyl bags are everywhere on Instagram at the minute so I mean on trend as well as looking boujee as ever.
