Make-up products we all need in our make-up bag!

L’Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist – Boots. This fixing mist is one of my all time favourites it works so well with the foundation. I love how it dries super quickly and doesn’t feel sticky at all. It allows your make up to last all day and you can’t really complain because it’ll look as fab as it did when you first applied it.

She’s a natural day and night face pallete – Soap & Glory.I totally forgot I had this, but recently I’ve got back into using it. It’s so versatile to pop in your bag I mean it’g all you need in one. I love the highlighter in this it’s SO pigmented. As well as the mirror I mean it’s the perfect size for doing your make-up on the go.

Laura Geller Illuminator – Beauty BayI got this for my birthday and it’s one of my favourite highlighters to use. I love how pink/rose gold looks with my skin tone. It’s so sparkly and super pigmented again I mean you just can’t go wrong so I’d definitely recommend this.

Lingerie Liquid Lip (Embellishment ) – NYX. You all know how much I love NYX and their lipsticks their lingerie range has to be my favourite. I’m yet to try the suede’s but I’m sure I’ll love them. Embellishment is a soft purple colour and I love it.

Lingerie Liquid Lip (Cashmere Silk) – NYX. Another one of my favourites is one I purchased more recently it’s this nude I LOVE it honestly is has to be my top buy this month. I know I’ll be wearing this as my everyday nude.

Sexy Mother Pucker XL Extreme Plump – Soap & Glory.  I love wearing this over my matte lipsticks it gives such a better fell rather than the dry lips especially at this time of year its just what you need.

i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Au Naturel – Sleek. Again another one of my favourites is this pallete from Sleek it just has all the right shades to transition from evening to a morning look. It’s just so easy to have in your make up bag for any look for anytime of the day.

Supercat Black Eyeliner Pen – Soap & Glory. I love my eyeliner as you all know and this is super black which I struggle to find with some eyeliners. You can get the perfect flick in literally minutes. If you don’t have this eyeliner get your hands on it, it’s fab.

Highlighter in Crescent Moon – Topshop. Finally last but not least probably my favourite is this Topshop highlighter I cannot get enough of it its the prettiest colour and it’s actually unbelievable how good it is!! I mean one swatch and you’ll understand it’s too beautiful.

Quick Halloween Inspired Make Up Look!

Happy Halloween, as it’s Halloween I thought I’d jump on the bandwagon and do a post Halloween-esque! I did a make-up look which was quite vampy so I thought I’d share how I did it and what I used. I love dark and smoky make-up so what other opportunity to share this make-up look.

L’Oreal Infallible Foundation – Boots.  I got a foundation slightly lighter than my original shade to add that pale look. It wasn’t as light as I wanted but even a little lighter makes a difference. This foundation is my holy-grail drugstore foundation it has a medium coverage so you can’t go wrong.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – Superdrug. I used my Collection concealer as you all know its my favourite to hide them eye bags. I added it just under my eyes again in a lighter shade than my usual just to make my face pale instead of it being my natural shade.

Laura Geller Illuminator – Beauty Bay.  I love this highlighter. It’s so pretty and has the brightest glow so I thought this would be the best way to add a lighter colour to the look. As well as a slightly pink glow rather than silver.

Ultra Matte Lip –  Colourpop.  I’m so glad it’s A/W so I can get the most wear out of this again. It was going dusty waiting for me to pick it up again. I love a dark lip and this has to be my favourite shade. A deep red. I mean you just can’t go wrong with bold eyes and a dark lip.

Sexy Mother Pucker – Soap and glory. Instead of it just having a matte finish, I thought to change it up a little so I added this lip gloss on top. It added such a brighter more loud look to my lips. To allow it to be the centre of the look.

L’Oreal Paris Super Liner – Superdrug. I mean you can’t go wrong with a winged eye look for Halloween. It’s the perfect opportunity to go all out and have the boldest eye make up. So why not take advantage of it. I love this eyeliner its perfect to get the sharpest wing as well as the darkest.

Lace Cat Ears – Primark. Finally, a non-make up item to finish the whole look were these lace ears that I grabbed from Primark aren’t they the cutest you’ve seen!!? Again you can adapt this look by adding lashes or even eyeshadow and even glitter if you want to go that extra mile!

Get Pamper Ready with Soap & Glory!

After a brilliant birthday week its time to update you guys with some exciting new releases from Soap and Glory! I mean how can I not share what I’ve been loving.

First and foremost we’ve got to go with the She’s a natural day and night face pallete.  I’m in love with this combination I mean it’s just everything you could need in a pallete. The pallete consists of a light-deflecting sunkissed bronzer, a creamy blendable blusher and the a sheer, smoothing highlighter. The goodness doesn’t stop there then comes 3 silky buildable eyeshadow in the shades – cafe away, culture choc and choccy. This is perfect to have in your handbag or take away with you for a weekend rather than a whole bunch of make up. The eyeshadows have to be my favourite as I did an evening look and they worked so well.

As you all know I’m all about long baths and pamper nights. I’d have one every night if I could! Soap and glory now have bath bombs! YES you heard it right!! They have bath bombs I mean it couldn’t be a better idea could it? The fizz-a-bath bombs are available in original pink, smoothie star and sugar crush. These are exclusively available at Boots.

Finally, another one of my favourites is the melty talented dry skin balm. You can dab a bit of this onto dry lips, nails or even hair tips. It has a light coconut fragrance to leave you feeling soothed and nourished this is so versatile as it has so many uses. You can take it everywhere and it’ll come in handy.

I’m in love with late night pamper sessions and all these products are perfect for a relaxed evening or even a late night make up look.

Trends, newbies and holy grails!

My posting schedule is a mess, I’m truly sorry I’ve just been so busy. It’ll be back to normal soon I promise you.

Chokers and a dark lip haven’t ever left. They’ve always been an option to fall back on. I mean there’s no going wrong. You can add that rock chick vibe to an outfit instantly and sometimes we all want that side of us to shine. I mean I love a choker to add that bold look to my outfit if I’m feeling a little bare. Even in the summer a pastel choker isn’t something to say no to. However maybe the dark lip is a little less popular. As people tend to go for more the glossy lighter lip look.

Highlighter (by Sleek – limited edition) never fails to amaze me. Adds such a wonderful glow which lasts all day. Blinding but on trend on Instagram as everyone’s look is completed with a finishing sweep of highlight.

Silver hoops have wormed their way back in with one of the most unexpected appearances. In trend during the Noughties yet people wanted this trend to not come back. It’s back and better than ever. The Hadid sisters, and Love Islands popular Olivia, Gabby, Amber and Camilla have been rocking them in and out the villa. I’ve been loving them and cannot wait to style them with evening and day outfits as earings have to be one of my favourites.

Hand cream remains as one of my favourite products which has a home in my hand bag, my car and a collection on my dressing table. A newbie I received recently  is from the Crabtree and Evelyn’s Gardeners collection. It contains nutrient-rich shea butter which is my favourite and I love this as it’s absorbed by hands super quickly leaving them feeling lovely.

10 make up products you need in your collection!

You know the certain beauty products you have in your make up collection that sometimes you totally forget about, they are sometimes the most precious.

These are 10 make up products I think we all need and cannot live without!

1. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (Translucent) – I love this powder, it’s so good to set your foundation with and doesn’t move all day! Your skin doesn’t look cakey but so flawless I mean you can’t go wrong with this in your make up bag!

 

2. Bagsy Bronzer – I totally forgot about this and how much I used to treasure it! BUT it’s back I love a good bronze look and how it adds such a subtle glow and not too dark. I mean who doesn’t love a bit of a summer glow to get them summer vibes a little early!

 

3. Soap & Glory Think & Fast Mascara – I’m not a mascara kinda girl I’m more on the kohl hype but recently I can’t go without it it adds such good volume to my lashes instantly all you need is your eyelashes curlers and this mascara and I promise your good to go!

 

4. Ted Baker Highlight & Blush Pallete – As you all know highlight is my favourite like I could literally have it all over my face and I’d be happy with just that. This highlight is SO pigmented like no kidding the glow is unreal!

 

5. KIKO Primer – A good primer is essential for a good stable base to your whole make up look and honestly I’m nearly out of this so I need to repurchase it, I love how it makes my skin feel and leaves my make up looking amazing all day long!

 

6. KIKO 3D Lifting Foundation – I’ve missed using this foundation but now that I’ve got my favourite primer foundation combo back there’s no going back! I cannot wait to get back into full swing with these two products because they’re so good together!

 

7. NYX Lingerie Liquid Lip (Embellishment ) – This is probably my favourite of all the products I’ve mentioned merely because I can’t go a day without it! It’s my everyday lip and I adore the colour on my skin tone! The formulas for these liquid lipsticks are phenomenal and I really need to grab a couple more!

 

8. Soap & Glory Kohl (Silver) – I love this in my waterline it’s such a pretty colour. Instead of the normal black I love changing it up. Also it compliments the highlight in the corner of my eye and it’s just a amazing combination.

 

9. Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner – A good winged eyeliner is essential to a good make up look! With this supercat liner you can’t have a sharper flick! It’s a must to have in your make up bag and perfect for on the go!

 

10. Soap & Glory Gloss Stick (Nude) – Finally for the last way you can also glow is with this gloss stick on top of your matte lipstick! It’s just so pretty and keeps your lips hydrated and feeling super smooth all day!!

Skincare products that I’ve been loving!

Swollen tonsils, exam stress and life leaves you with awful skin I don’t know if that’s just me. However all these factors led me to consolidating some of my favourite skincare products. All these products work wonders no matter what my skin is going through. I haven’t blogged in a week and I’m sorry but being Ill is the worst 😦 I’M BACK and a little better. So why not share with you some of my favourites right now!

T Zone Clear Out Nose Pore Strips –  After seeing so many other bloggers rave about these I hopped on the bandwagon and now I know why! They’re so good to get rid of blackheads and dead skin on your nose. They’re so easy to apply and are good for all skin types as I have quite sensitive skin too.

Body Shop Seaweed Clay Mask –  I’ve always loved body shop face masks and they’re the ones I continue to use, I mean you just cannot go wrong I love this seaweed one it works amazingly! It leaves my skin feeling super smooth and hydrated, I really want to try the charcoal one too have you tried it?

Bee Good Cream Cleanser –  Another one of my favourite products is this cream cleanser which I need to repurchase asap. It is perfect for when my skin breaks out. Its so soothing to apply and washes off leaving my skin feeling 10x better than it originally was.

*Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream –  I love this facial cream its perfect to apply before applying make up and after you’ve took your make up off. It’s the perfect shield for your skin. Leaving it feeling refreshed for a whole 24hrs without a doubt. It’s easily absorbed and is compatible with all skin types too.

*Kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser –  I love taking my make up off with this facial cleanser as it is one of the best facial washes I’ve used it leaves my skin feeling so soft and glowing. You only need the tiniest amount too and it works the same whereas other products you do need quite a bit.

Thick & Fast HD Mascara – I’ve personally never tried this mascara but I’ve heard a lot of good things about it so I’m so excited to finally get to try it! The name gets me excited I mean you cannot go wrong with it as it applies that volume and adds length definition and DRAMA!

Supercat Black Eyeliner Pen – Finally the Supercat eyeliner is one of my all time favourite eyeliners for getting that perfect flick so I’m so excited to start using this again. It can go either two ways a fine point for a natural look or a thick edge for a dramatic look I mean it’s a winner either way am I right?

My favourite fragrances!♥

As the sun has made an appearance lately, I thought it’d be a great idea to share some of my favourite fragrances with you. As I know there’s nothing better than a good fragrance when the sun is out.

*Barbour For her Fragrance – Selfridges. This definitely is one of my favourite fragrances, it has such a fruity scent which you can’t go wrong with especially when the sun is shining. It’s such a pretty scent of sweet vanilla. The packaging I mean you can’t go wrong with rose gold!

Hugo Boss Orange Fragrance For Her. I’m pretty much going tell you all of these fragrances are my favourite. But I do love this one! It has to be the one I wear as a special fragrance as it has such a gorgeous scent I want it to last forever. I love oranges so every time I spray this I fall in love every time.

Chanel No5 Paris – Feel Unique. This again has a floral scent and it is such a classic. I mean you cannot go wrong with a bit of Chanel. I mean every girl has to own a Chanel perfume right? It’s quite a big perfume so again I like to wear this occasionally not as an everyday spray.

Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush – Superdrug. This has such a pink passion scent and I love it. It’s perfect for an everyday spray. I love the fruity scent combined with the pink it adds such a subtle but long-lasting scent. Not to mention how pretty the packaging is and it’s a perfect size for your handbag too!

My Favourite Beauty Palettes!

Today I decided to share my favourite palettes with you because they are simply stunning. Palettes are an essential for me, since I can easily slip them into my bag when I’m on the go and they are also a really good value for money. I love a good eyeshadow palette but blush and contour palettes have grown on me and I just can’t get enough!

Sleek i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Au Naturel – Now I’m sure I’ve raved about this before, but it is gorgeous! There’s 12 shadows that are highly pigmented and I believe they would suit all skin tones. This is perfect for day and night since its neutral tones can be intensified if you want a more dramatic look.

The Body Shop Eye Quad in Down To Earth 03 – This palette is perfect for a night out! Its pigmented colours are easily blendable, making it the ideal palette to create a smoky eye with. It’s also compact which is a plus for me!

Soap & Glory Perfect 10 Eyeshadow Palette – This palette is absolutely amazing, the eye shadows are easily buildable and blendable! There’s ten shades than can combine to make tons of stunning eye looks.

Sleek Blush By 3 in Lace– Why buy a single blush when you can have 3? These colours are so gorgeous and are look good on any skin tone. The shimmer shade is versatile as it can be used as a subtle highlight! The colours are very pigmented so apply with a light hand and you’ll get its stunning finish.

Sleek Cream Contour Kit – Sleek is always pulling it out of the bag with its beautiful palettes, this included. Its 6 shades are super creamy and  blend beautifully into the skin. This is honestly just as good as the high end cream contour palettes so I highly recommend this!
