Trends, newbies and holy grails!

My posting schedule is a mess, I’m truly sorry I’ve just been so busy. It’ll be back to normal soon I promise you.

Chokers and a dark lip haven’t ever left. They’ve always been an option to fall back on. I mean there’s no going wrong. You can add that rock chick vibe to an outfit instantly and sometimes we all want that side of us to shine. I mean I love a choker to add that bold look to my outfit if I’m feeling a little bare. Even in the summer a pastel choker isn’t something to say no to. However maybe the dark lip is a little less popular. As people tend to go for more the glossy lighter lip look.

Highlighter (by Sleek – limited edition) never fails to amaze me. Adds such a wonderful glow which lasts all day. Blinding but on trend on Instagram as everyone’s look is completed with a finishing sweep of highlight.

Silver hoops have wormed their way back in with one of the most unexpected appearances. In trend during the Noughties yet people wanted this trend to not come back. It’s back and better than ever. The Hadid sisters, and Love Islands popular Olivia, Gabby, Amber and Camilla have been rocking them in and out the villa. I’ve been loving them and cannot wait to style them with evening and day outfits as earings have to be one of my favourites.

Hand cream remains as one of my favourite products which has a home in my hand bag, my car and a collection on my dressing table. A newbie I received recently  is from the Crabtree and Evelyn’s Gardeners collection. It contains nutrient-rich shea butter which is my favourite and I love this as it’s absorbed by hands super quickly leaving them feeling lovely.

*Jewellery haul with Unicorn Born!

With my stereotypical obsession of unicorns I came into contact with the jewellery brand Unicorn Born owned by the lovely lady Fee and wanted all of you to see how unique her handmade jewellery is which makes it so special.

The slim velvet choker  caught my attention immediately as it was super thin which I love as it’s not too alarming and can add that 70’s vibe to any outfit no matter how you style it. Previously, with chokers I’ve bought they’ve ended up loose after a couple of times I’ve worn them and didn’t quite fit my neck how I’d wanted it. However, I wore this choker and it fitted perfectly, I’ll keep you updated whether or not it does loosen after a while.

Another one of my personal favourites is the Twisted ring which is perfect for stacking if you love your rings like me. It’s such a good fit especially with other rings its super adorable and dainty. You can add either statement rings to spice it up a little or other rings similar to it to be more casual. It’s such good quality too, which I wasn’t quite expecting it to be if I’m honest.

Unicorn Born have fast delivery and you receive all your items in the cutest packaging as you can see above so do head over and check it for more quirky handmade jewellery.

Noir [all black everything]

I have so many outfits I’ve been loving but it has been way to cold to go out and shoot so I thought I’d have to get a post up under any circumstances so I have and this has to be one of my favourite outfits.

Metallic Longline Eyelet T-Shirt – River Island.  I saw this in-store and I couldn’t not have it. I love how these metallica t-shirts have been on trend so I thought I’d hop on kind of. It’s so simplistic but then quite bold and can be styled so easily.

Black Zip High Rise Leggings – River Island.  Whilst shopping I picked up these as I’ve been looking for jeans quite similar but with zips over the knees(which I’m still on the hunt for) If anyone knows where I’d be able to get some do let me know. However, these are so comfy and honestly you can’t get better leggings than River Island.

Oversized Shearling Biker Jacket – Warehouse.  I love this jacket more than words can explain. You can rock it everyday of the week. It’s so comfy and super stylish and again has been on-trend and honestly if you haven’t got one, please get one they’re perfect.

Nike SB Stefan Janoski – JD Sports. I love skateboard shoes I mean I don’t know if it’s just me. I don’t skateboard but oh I could buy SB shoes forever I love my Vans and I indeed love Nike SB. They’re so simple yet can be added to any outfit just to add that cool vibe and you can never forget how comfy they are.

Silver Glam Watch – Swatch.  Finally, I can’t go without my Swatch it’s just so pretty and ‘glam’ as the name states.

I promise I’ve not been hiding. The key is within planning and organisation. I have been devoting my time to a key plan for blog posts and innovation. I’m up to date with all the fresh content to soon appear for debut.

Today I thought I’d share one of my favourite coats in spotlight. I love styling this in so many ways but for me simplicity is essential. So I thought I’d share it with you guys. With a simple outfit of full black the navy blue is caught with the eye which is the exact vibe I love to go for.

Molly Overcoat – Your Shores.  A long boyfriend overcoat is a staple this A/W if I say so myself. They’re everywhere on the high street in the deep burgundy and light grey shade. You can style them my layering and even with the simplest of items. I love how mine fits, the length is not too long and it’s not to oversized either.

Short Polo-Neck Top – H&M. I love the style of this polo-neck as it’s not your average polo-neck as its much more thinner. It’s so easy to style with any pair of jeans as well as a nice pair of trousers.

Skinny High Waist Jeans – New Look.  It doesn’t get more standard than a black high waist pair of jeans. However, I love the fit of these I didn’t really think New Look jeans would be this satisfying.

Suede Chelsea Boots – Asos.  I purchased these boots a couple of months ago and honestly I love styling them with all different outfits. The ones linked aren’t the exact ones I have but they’re the closest I could find.

Outerwear Trends for Autumn | Shores

img_8604 img_8618 img_8622 img_8629 img_8631 img_8632 img_8675 img_8680 img_8685 img_8690 img_8702 img_8717 img_8742  img_8771img_8745

This is a post I’ve been waiting to publish for a long time! I’m so excited ahhhhh. As you may or may not know I’m all for coats and jackets as this is what I love to see in my wardrobe. During the summer me and Jess picked out our favourite trends for outerwear so I thought I’d share these picks with you guys.

Fur Parka in Khaki and Pink – Shores. Parkas have always been a top trend during the colder months whether that’s a khaki one, camo or even a pink hooded one. They are seen on the likes of Zoella, Louisa Johnson and even Kylie Jenner. I loved modelling this pink hooded parka as it is just a piece essential for the wardrobe. I guess it’s bold but in a subtle way.

Embroidered Souvenir Jacket – Shores.  This has to be my favourite of all the outerwear I just cannot stop wearing it. The embroidery on the jacket is so detailed and stands out on the black. I do love the material which is silky and so lightweight. Bomber jackets are so trendy easy to throw on and perfect to layer with!

Pink Bomber Jacket with Patches – Shores.  Another bomber jacket which I’ve also been loving is this pale pink one, which fair enough isn’t for everyone. However patch work and patches has been going crazy on denim jackets, jeans and even bags. Adding that hint of quirky. I do love how spontaneous this jacket is.

Lightweight Duster Coat – Shores.  Finally another one of my favourites has to be this duster coat. I love how lightweight it is you can add a scarf and a knitted jumper on under as well as a beanie and bam it’s the perfect winter outfit. I love layering this and adding colours to the black.

I cannot wait to do an autumn look book post including some of these fabulous pieces – so do keep an eye out!

On Monday I was invited down to Manchester Arndale to preview the AW16 collections. I love knowing what will be in trend and what to expect from my favourite retailers – so I couldn’t refuse!

We were greeted with drinks and the cutest biscuits which were SO nice! We each all then got a go on the style spinner to try and get the same 3 outfits from the same retailer in a row and I won. The prize was a £10 voucher to spend in Manchester Arndale. It was nice to see so many people win. Don’t forget you can have a go on the style spinner this weekend too so don’t miss out! Get down to Manchester Arndale, Exchange Court just outside Next.

Then I was in for a treat I got my lips done at the Kiko counter and I loved the shade! However that wasn’t just it. We got to have a live Q&A with the lovely Arabella Greenhill who is the InStyle fashion director. This was super inspiring as we got to hear how she got to where she is today as well as learn about her style and what her top picks were for A/W16 were.

I fell in love with the puffa jacket that we got to see as well as the biker jacket they are both just essential for A/W16 and I think with these you’d definitely be in trend as well as super warm for the upcoming cold.

Don’t forget to head down to Manchester Arndale from the 5th to the 6th of November for the fashion weekender with Kiko to win fashion prizes, exclusive discounts and free make-up from Kiko Milano. For more info click here.

Outfit of the night // Out in Autumn

img_0284 img_0318 img_0331 img_0332 picmonkey-collage picmonkey-collage11

I don’t know how I’ve coped without posting any outfits lately but I assure you there will be many outfit posts coming up as of today! Last weekend me and my family went for a meal in the evening so I had an excuse to put on an outfit which I think is so pretty and I will be wearing quite often. Normally I wouldn’t be the one the one wearing a dress but I was.

Burgundy Lace Long Sleeve Skater Dress – New Look. I bought this from New Look and honestly it is such good quality and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. Once I tried it on, there was no going back I loved how it looked on and I knew I could compliment my make-up with this so well.

Point Heeled Lace Up Heels – Primark. I purchased these a while ago but haven’t had a chance to wear them this was the perfect oppertunity. I love the little lace up which just adds that little something than a standard pair of heels. Also, as it was quite cold I think black heels are acceptable however you could be a bit more adventurous if it was a little warmer with a gold pair of heels and accessories.

Gold dainty rings and necklace – Orelia (Topshop).  Orelia is one of my favourite brands to pick up jewellery from they have a large range from gold to silver for this outfit I went with gold as it compliments the outfit however I did leave my Pandora birth stone ring on.

Other ways you could style this outfit is with a gold envelope clutch or even a black one this would just bring all together perfectly even with maybe accessories in you hair like gold hair grips or even a hair band.

I hope you enjoyed this post!
