What I got for my 18th Birthday!

On Monday I tuned 18, if you know me you’ll know how much I love birthday’s! I had been waiting on this day forever. Once it finally arrived I couldn’t have been any happier than I was.

My birthday fell on a Monday meaning I had to go to college, which I wasn’t to keen on but once I walked there was birthday banners and a balloon I had the biggest smile, I honestly couldn’t be more thankful to my lovely bunch of friends.

The first presents of the day were of my one and only fav Hemisha, I was so excited to get opening the many presents she’d wrapped in rose gold wrapping paper it was so pretty! Hemisha got me a Rose Gold Scrapbook, a Silver Bracelet with my initials on, bath bomb  and a White Polaroid Camera!!! I was SO happy I’ve wanted one forever – hem you know me to well! Thank you ever so much. Thank you Brogan and Josh for the lovely cake and card as well as Zayn for the card too! Leon & Sarah the absolute gems got me ankle socks with unicorns on I mean I love unicorns so that made my day – thank you guys!

Then once dinner was in play they walked out with this massive chocolate cake and the whole college was singing happy birthday I mean how crazy I was so embarrassed but I love my college family they’re the absolute best!

As the college day came to an end, I got home and on the dining table was lots of presents, the main one which caught my eye was a rose gold Iphone 7 I mean I can’t remember the last time my heart skipped a beat. I was so shocked because I really didn’t expect it all. Thank you mum & dad I’m so grateful.

In the evening, all my family and relatives came over and I was truly spoilt being showered in gifts and pounds. Off my favourite cousin I got the Soap & Glory pink pamper set with Thorntons white chocolate smileys! Thank you so much. Off my aunty and uncle I got a Pandora ring with my birthstone – which is so so pretty! My birth stone is pale pink so they know me well – Thank you! Thanks to Jamila and her family for the bunch of roses they are so beautiful as well as the balloon! Not to mention I got so much chocolate that I have enough for a lifetime!

Another one of my aunty’s and uncle got me Hugo Boss for women with a bunch of chocolates (not good for my diet but a good treat aha!) Thank you ever so much! I also got a Sanctuary Spa body wash set and a 18 mug which is perfect for a hot chocolate as well as a Lady Gaga perfume set which smells insane. I was also lucky to get a Swaroski necklace from another aunty and a necklace set from my other aunty aswell.My little sister got me a mug with my initials on again which I cannot wait to use and take pictures off! I got a bunch of make-up, a dress which is SO pretty and an Skinny Dip case for my new phone too. A big thanks to all my family and friends for all the cards, presents and wishes. I could include everything but I’m so grateful to everyone who made my day special. I love you all ever so much!

I literally had the best 18th birthday thank you everyone as well as my followers.

This time last week I was out in the sun exploring London and honestly it was the best couple of days. So I thought I’d do a post sharing what I got up to. So me and my family got on the train and headed to London. Once we arrived in London went to go find our hotel. The hotel we stayed at was the Aloft Hotel  next door to the Excel. The hotel was so pretty I mean at night it was my favourite as the lights reflected into the river.

Over the 3 days, we explored so many sights (as us tourists do)! M&M world is a place I’d recommend you visit I mean it is literally heaven. I loved exploring Sky Sports HQ, I mean you wouldn’t expect it to be as fascinating as it was. The Emirates airline was another one of my favourites as well as the London Eye, it looks so cool from a bird’s eye view. I enjoyed my little trip to London and can’t wait to go back towards then end of September! I hope you enjoy looking at the selection of pictures it was so hard to cut it down to only a couple (I have way too many!)

Updated Skincare Routine | 2016♡

As highly requested from all you lovely readers I’ve decided to upload an updated skincare routine. As through my good days and bad days my skin has massively improved from frequent breakouts to hardly any! As I started to  notice my skin was frequently breaking out I knew I had to try and fix it, so I decided to think about what I could do not just by using products but also taking a look into my lifestyle – which honestly plays a large part in this!

I hardly used to drink any water and have quite a lot of sugar which clearly didn’t balance out. So without a thought I stopped having sugar and started drinking plenty more water to clear out all the toxins and allowing the inside of my body to be much more hydrated and healthy. At first you may think Kiran are you crazy? No sugar..but honestly it’s the best thing I’ve ever done! Now onto the products which have helped my skin stay smooth, less oily and hydrated! I try not to use products on my skin everyday as personally I think every couple of days is much more effective as the use of products consistently can also have a negative impact on your skin.

Cream Cleanser – Bee Good. I have used this cleanser for a quite a while now mainly because it’s a good consistency and absorbs into my skin easily without irritating it as I have quite sensitive skin but I don’t use this on a day to day basis but every other day. It leaves my skin looking and feeling fresh.

Clear out face pore strips – T Zone. I purchased these strips last month and once I had used them it made me think where have you been all my life? As these strips allow your blackheads to be removed as well as any oil instantly.  They’re easy to use give incredible results in a small space of time.

Nugg Beauty face masks – Selfridges.  Both the exfoliating face mask and the deep cleansing face mask they both provide my skin with 2 different services which are both as important. Any redness is removed by the deep cleansing face mask and the exfoliating face mask hydrates the skin immensely. Again, I don’t use face masks as frequently as I use the cream cleanser I prefer to apply a face mask a month if my skin isn’t too bad if it is I apply a face mask twice a month!

Catastrophe Cosmetic face mask – Lush. Another face mask I have been alternating between is this one from Lush which I think is a perfect match for my skin. Containing blueberries, calamine and chamomile, rose, and almond oils to soothe and soften the skin this contains vitamins as it contains wholesome blueberries which is why I think it’s great!

Strawberry body butter – The Body Shop. This is perfect if you have normal dry skin as it moisturizes perfectly and doesn’t feel heavy at all it’s quickly absorbed and long lasting which I love!

Eat Pasta, Run Faster with Vapiano Manchester!


As I promised I’d do another post for you with Vapiano Manchester, however this is slightly different to the previous one. Vapiano are introducing a diet plan, as they teamed up with Dr Sarah Shenker a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist. This diet plan will enhance runners diets for the Great Manchester Run. Sarah states  ‘It’s important to balance your carbohydrate intake with plenty of protein. The delicious pasta dishes from Vapiano can be a big part of your fitness plan whether you’re a runner, cyclist, body builder or partake in any regular sport.

The Great Manchester Run is creeping up on us as its on Sunday 22nd May 2016. This is a good time period for runners to test the diet plan as training for a longer distance race like a half or full marathon, you will need to maximize your glycogen stores by eating plenty of carbohydrate foods 2-3 days before the big day. Vapiano is perfect for this as Pasta Pomodoro is said to top up carbohydrate (glycogen) stores. The meal eaten the night before is crucial in delivering the last top up of glycogen. Also, Rucola ravioli which glycogen stores will be depleted so carbohydrate from pasta is important to help muscles recover. There is plenty of whey protein from the ricotta which delivers special amino acids that are effective in helping to repair the muscles and prevent muscle soreness.

Vapiano is a great restaurant to go to, primarily as there is a variety of dishes to add to your carbohydrate load as this is essential. A variety of pasta dishes are available made fresh for you whilst you watch the magic happen!

Doll White: Teeth Whitening!

I’ve had the most tiring Saturday. I hope your all having an eventful evening too. A few weeks ago I received a package from Doll White. If you didn’t already know they provide you with teeth whitening strips for a number of days depending on what you choose. Mine were the 6 day ones.

It contained 6 teeth whitening strips. In each packet there was a strip for the top teeth and one for the bottom. These strips also are non-peroxide which means they won’t do any harm which most teeth whitening strips do.

I myself do prefer the idea of the strips rather than other complicated teeth whitening kits. As its all done in the matter of 30 mins with easy and simplistic steps. I’ve done the whole 6 day course and my teeth are lovely and pearl white and I couldn’t be happier!

I’m always on the look out for simpler alternatives and this for teeth whitening is awesome! I totally recommend for you to try them as its super simple and such a good outcome!!

Pink Soda Sport Event&New Collection!

Hey guys, I hope your all well and feeling as beautiful as the weather; because I know I am!

Last Thursday, I was invited to come down to Train in Castlefield for a cross-fit session with Pink Soda Sport lots of other bloggers. This was such exciting event to be attending.

During the event I got to wear my pieces (as in the pictures below). They were super comfortable to wear and easy to work out in whilst looking your best! It was so lovely meeting bloggers I hadn’t met before, we had such good session even if it meant I couldn’t move the next day haha! As becoming healthy and being fit has become apart of my daily lifestyle this session was great to enhance both my strength and stamina. Learning how to do new exercises was really beneficial even though I hated the burpees!!

Gift ideas for Mother’s Day♥

Hello my favourite people, I hope your having a great week so far. College is draining me as usual but guys I’m trying my hardest ahhh! Today I thought I’d share with you what I’ve got my mum for Mother’s Day as it’s on Sunday plus I’ve got some recommendations if your still unsure of what to purchase.

I came across the site  Qwerkity and it has a variety of gifts for both men and women it’s such a good variation of gifts. From categories such as gadgets, home and clothing etc. Especially for Mother’s Day there’s so much choice that it takes ages trying to decide. At the end of a long browse I decided to go with this: Ted Baker Manicure Set as my mum loves taking care of her nails and I just thought this rose gold coloured contents were so pretty and the packaging is floral which is gorgeous it’s unreal.

I thought the simplicity of it was perfect as my mum loves the simple things, which is why I also got her a Pandora bracelet –  which I think is so simple but yet has a sentimental loving feeling behind it. Plus a Pandora ring which similar to the bracelet I think it again has a meaning behind why you purchase which is something I love about Pandora. As well as some yankee Candle melts as she loves candles and this is awesome as it comes with 12 different scents of candles. I also need to get a bouquet of flowers which I’ll purchase on Saturday  so they remain fresh as well as some Thorntons chocolate.

Valentine’s Day Cake Pops!

Hey guys!

I hope your having an amazing Valentines Day so far! I have finally got a week of college phewwww! Today I’ve got a recipe to share about one of my favourite snacks – cake pops!! It’s super easy if you have a cake pop maker which is so much easier if your like me!! Also, it’s a perfect treat and can decorate them how you wish making them super adorable. I’ve put a picture above if you want to make yours all pink – I went for chocolate themed ones because I love chocolate!

[Recipe from Food Network]

Ingredients –  

tablespoons of coffee granules

1 1/3 cup of water

box  cake mix

1/2cup vegetable oil


1 tub of Valentines Sprinkles

Directions –

Add the softened butter and sugar to a large mixing bowl and beat until light and fluffy then beat in the egg and vanilla essence to the mixing bowl. Add the salt and baking powder to the bowl and mix in. Gradually sift and mix in the flour. Add the milk and mix all of the ingredients until they come together to form a smooth batter.

Make sure that your Cake Pop Maker is pre-heated and that each cavity has been coated with an oil spray. Add a dessert spoon sized amount to each cake pop cavity on the bottom baking plate. Carefully close the lid and allow the cake pops to bake for 4-5 minutes.

You can test that the cake pops are ready by inserting a toothpick into the middle of one; if it comes out clean they are ready. Switch off the machine and leave to cool for a few minutes before removing with a wooden or plastic utensil.

Decorate your cake pops as desired.

Steps towards a healthy lifestyle!

Hey guys!

I hope you guys are well and as happy as I am in this horrible British weather. It’s been a long week and college seems to be getting harder and harder but I guess you’ve got to get though the rough days to see the good days right?

So today I wanted to start a new aspect to my blog as you may have guessed it – a healthy lifestyle! As a main new year’s resolution I set myself to stop eating junk as well as getting fitter. I have stuck to it so far with eating more fruit as a substitute to chocolate. Also, ensuring I exercise and walk a lot everyday and hit the gym once a week too. All these little pieces add up quite nicely to making you much healthier and increasing your activity of exercise.

So from now I will share every month or so my top tips for staying healthy and work outs to ensure you are maintaining that exercise.  As I’ve mentioned previously I’m not an expert of any sort all tips are based on experience and have worked for me so I’d think it’d benefit you therefore I’m sharing them with you guys.

1// Ensure you start your day with a small but powerful breakfast – Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gets you alive and awake for your long day ahead so its crucial you feed your system with powerful foods. A perfect idea, which is also a trend right now is a power drink made in the nutribullet. This is the perfect solution to adding a variety of healthy components into one. Firstly, start by adding some of your favourite fruits like blueberries,mango and pineapple in small proportion then add a little salad so this could be rocket or spinach whichever floats your boat. Then some key segments would be a few nuts, pumpkin seeds and gogi berries which are an amazing trigger for the brain and to top it off add some water. Just for breakfast you’ve got your five a day as well as water and brain food – its a win win really!

2// Have frequent but small meals – It’s crucial to keep your stomach happy, however not too much so the best thing to do is have small meals containing healthy foods this could be either a salad with avocado, tuna and even meat – which is my favourite! Also, add a squeeze of lemon as its good for loosing weight. This could even be your favourite meal but just substituting anything unhealthy with something healthy. During the day a perfect snack or just something to keep you going would be a belvita breakfast biscuit.

3// Workout & Walk often – Most people don’t see walking in the light that it should be seen as predominantly its one of the easiest ways of burning calories and the easiest style of exercise. Instead of getting in the car to reach a destination close to you just walk it’s perfect to get some fresh air and ask a few friends to go on walk its a good way to socialize and do good for your body. Workouts have easily become one of my favourite things to do everyday as if your like me walking can seem bland but working out you can go onto Youtube and there is a variety of workouts  you can follow and once you’ve gotten the hang of it you can make your own to do whilst listening to your favourite music.

4// Go to the gym – Most people prefer to go to the gym rather than working out but whatever suites you as a person is best. However, the gym can boost your health and muscular strength too so even if it is once a week your still getting that extra strength whilst working on the components of your body you wish to improve.

Nine to five heels!

Hey everyone!

It feels like forever since I’ve sat at my laptop and wrote a blog post but it really hasn’t been that long. I hope you’ve all had a positive start to 2016.

Today I’m introducing you to a solution for sore heels after wearing heels its Nine to five heels. If your like me and don’t wear heels because of the burn they cause then this is perfect because I know I will now be wearing heels more often.

They have a variety of benefits such as them being hygienic as they are made from a flexible gel and can be easily washed keeping them fresh as well as having a peppermint essence.

Once I had tried them I had no trouble in wearing heels for a whole night instead of usually changing into flats an hour after. It’s a great solution and they also come in a variety of colours hot pink, black and clear and sizes suitable for everyone.

I really recommend Nine to fie heels as they’re such a perfect solution and I wish I discovered it sooner.
