On Tuesday I was invited down to Jimmy’s in the Northern Quater for Selfridges Christmas Press Show. I can now tell you since the event I have been already feeling a-lot more Christmas-sy!

Today’s post is a special one, as you have probably guessed. Today is my blog birthday (you all know I love a good celebration). I cannot believe I’ve had this small space on the internet for a whole 4 years, sharing all my favourite things. It has flown by and I’ve loved every single minute (even the times where I’ve had writers block believe it or not).
I’ve wanted to do a post like this for the longest time. So last Wednesday I turned 20, I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday as it was spent with the best people! I decided to have two outfits and they came together just as I wanted. I opted for two outfits as I wanted a casual outfit to start with and end my birthday in a pair of heels (maybe it wasn’t such a good idea..?)
A trend that is circling the fashion-sphere is buckle belts and the cinched waist. I can happily say I’m obsessed, I love belts as it’s so easy to switch up an outfit with them. The belts I have been loving are buckle belts (they almost resemble a seat belt) they are so cool and just fit perfectly with my style.
I’ve been wanting to get this outfit on my Instagram for so long and now that I’ve got the photos I’m so excited to share it with you guys. It’s a look which can be styled up and down for whatever season in whatever weather.
I’ve been wearing this outfit non-stop so I had to share it with you guys, I’m obsessed with nearly everything listed. It’s such a transitional outfit for going into autumn. I can already tell I’m going to wear it all the time.
Currently I’ve really been into my make-up, learning new tips and tricks as well as being adventurous with products. I thought I’d share what products I’ve been loving and why.
It’s nearly time to go back to school and uni, which means summer is nearly over. When I was younger one of my favourite things to do in summer was to go shopping for my new uniform and school essentials. Now that I’m at university it’s even more exciting, there’s no uniform and I am so ready to go back with a new wardrobe – here are some of my favourite pieces.
Checkerboard has been a top trend and the grid pattern has blown us away. Before this even became a trend it was signature to Vans and their products from shoes to their sweatshirts. Skate culture saw it first.
After a hectic week of finally relaxing, seeing my friends and just having fun I’m glad it’s the weekend. This week my outfits have seemed to have taken many different turns from trousers to culottes to then items i’ve rediscovered. The outfit I want to share with you today is one i’ve revamped almost.
