La Source with Crabtree & Evelyn

I’ve been trying to find the perfect hair products to bring my hair the correct amount of volume keeping it refreshed and smooth. I’ve always used products consisting of seaweed for my skin so I thought it’d be perfect to try for my hair as it works a dream on my skin. For all products from La Source you can check them out here on the Crabtree & Evelyn website!
La Source Volumising seaweed shampoo – This shampoo has such a gorgeous scent and is easily applied from my roots to my tips of hair. It’s not much of a think consistency which I love as it’s easily washes out leaving my hair to be easily conditioned.
La Source Revitalising seaweed conditioner – This conditioner is extremely light weight leaving the hair smooth and soft without weighing it down. Again it has such a subtle but beautiful fragrance.
La Source Refreshing body mist – This body mist again consists of seaweed extracts and has such a good scent to it. It lasts from the moment you spray it to the moment you get in through the door after a busy day. I’ve gotten so many compliments on wearing this and it’s such a good size just to throw in your handbag!

I got a delivery and I couldn’t have been more excited when I saw a familiar product I mean is that just me? I love trying different versions of products I already use and this was one of them. I love my Dr. Paw Paw Tinted Red Balm so when I saw I had received a variety of them my eyes lit up! I mean it doesn’t get better having a multi-purpose lip balm in your hand bag does it?

Dr. Paw Paw Limited Edition Red Sparkle  This is the newest edition and it’s a sparkly one eeeek. This functions exactly the same as the original red one it’s a balm for the lips and can also be used on the cheek but this time with that added glitter! I tried this and I do love sparkles so this is right up my street!

Dr. Paw Paw Tinted Ultimate Red Balm The red ultimate balm has gone down a rank because now I’m totally in love with the the sparkly one I mean it’s just upgraded and I’m in love! However, I cannot recommend this balm enough it’s perfectly hydrating for the lips and the tint is so subtle which is perfect for application before a lipstick!

Dr. Paw Paw Tinted Peach Pink Balm Another one I’ve totally fallen in love with is this peach one, because honestly the colour is so pretty and I think I’m going get so much use out of it this SS17 because the red doesn’t always compliment every outfit and every lip colour so this will compliment nude shades perfectly.

Dr. Paw Paw Original Clear Balm Finally last but not least is the clear balm which again is amazing for the lips and skin, it has no tint to it if your look for something a little mysterious for your lips this is for you!

img_4513img_4491img_4489 img_4494

I got some new tools to add to my collection and I couldn’t be more happy to share with you what I think and my experience with using them.  They are The Body Shop vegan make-up brushes. When I first lay on them I loved the aesthetics as they’re just so pretty.

Fan Brush – A fan brush has always been a hidden one. Once I figured out what it was for, I decided to try it and honestly it works a dream to highlight my cheeks. I love how soft and easy it is to hold. It applies perfectly as well as it being charcoal-coated it’s so pretty.

Buffing Brush – A beauty blender has been a non-stop tool in my collection but it has been replaced because I cannot get enough of this brush, it leaves my make-up looking flawless as well as super soft.

Double-Ended Eye Shadow Brush – Finally , I’ve needed a multi-purpose eye shadow brush to smoke out the bottom lash line and this couldn’t be more precise. I love it as it has 2 within 1 brush and I can do my eye make-up within one brush.

Essentials for an everyday make-up look!

img_3594   img_3599 img_3589 img_3591 img_3593 img_3595 img_3597

Today I thought I’d share what I think are essential for an everyday make-up look as it’s hard to choose what to use on a daily basis so if you have your set of essentials your using your time effectively to create art and not waste it on deciding what your using.

Nude Saffron Eye-shadow pallete – Amazon.  At first I wasn’t to keen on this pallete but once I started to use it I’ve become more fond of it. The colour are perfect for a everyday look and aren’t too bright. This can be used in many different ways so do check it out.

L’Oreal Infallible Foundation – Boots.  I don’t use any other foundation other than from time to time but I always go back to this one it works with my skin so well I can apply whatever on this as my base and it always looks flawless you cannot go wrong.

MUA highlighter – Superdrug. I kind of forgot about this but recently I have brought it back and cannot stop using it because I’d forgotten how good it was.

Daring Look Eye Marker – Kiko. This eyeliner is perfect to get the most subtle flick I mean it’s almost effortless which I know everyone looks for.

Soap and Glory gloss stick- Boots. I love a good nude lipstick for an everyday look and you can’t better than a gloss stick which makes your lips hydrated and looking their best.

Eyelash Curlers – French Connection. I love having a bit of volume in my eyelashes as mascara works so insanely good with my curlers and does the job perfectly.

Eye Base – French Connection.  Having an eye base is perfect when doing eyeshadow and I’ve recently finished this one which I’m gutted about because it was amazing.

Perversion Mascara – Urban Decay. This mascara I couldn’t hype about anymore because it is so flaming good I mean its next to amazing everyone needs this in their eye make up draw.

Lipgloss – Laura Mercier.  Finally to add that extra sparkle to your lips top it off with this lipstick and honestly you have the prefect makeup look.

Holy Grail Skincare Products!

img_3498img_3502 img_3503 img_3504 img_3505

I literally haven’t this much of a hectic couple of months in forever. I finally think I’ve settled. I’m trying to get back into a schedule for my blog posts and they’ll be back to getting uploaded on a Saturday (fingers crossed). As I’ve been seeing such a difference in my skin I thought I’d updated you with what my holy grail skincare products are.

*MTV Staying Alive Ultra Facial Cream – Kiehls. I’ve nearly hit rock bottom of this and I couldn’t be more upset because I don’t know how I ever survived without this. I mean without make-up this keeps my skin feeling hydrated as well as absorbing really easily which I think not many moisturizes do.

Lip Balm – Balmi. I’ve got so many lip balms that I’m spoilt for choice. But I do love love my balmi primarily because it’s cherry but handbag friendly and I couldn’t go a day without it.

Cream Cleanser – Bee Good. I cannot recommend this to anyone with dry skin enough. It has such a powerful change I mean my skin was feeling horrid and a week of this cleanser it was brought back to life leaving it with a fresh feeling and finish.

Garnier Micellar Water – Superdrug. Again, as this has now emptied I realised how much I need it. Correcting my eyeliner wings wouldn’t work without this it works so much better than make-up wipes as well as eye make-up at the end of the night it’s the quickest and easiest way as we all just want to crawl into bed(it’s a win win, I promise.)

Seaweed clarifying toner – The Body Shop. I rediscovered this and honestly I forget how much I love it. It’s perfect to cleanse your face after a face scrub or a cleanser.

Plush Pink Skin Brush – Magnitone.  – I rediscovered my one love again and haven’t stopped using it since and it’s my magnitone. I recommend a skin brush to anyone it’s a perfect way to cleanse your face rather than your hands I promise you, you’ll never regret it. It’s so much easier and convenient.

Beauty Must Haves!

img_2952 img_2953 img_2954 img_2970 img_2973 img_2975

After a long eventful week I wanted to share with you some of my beauty products which I think everyone should have, whether that’s in their handbag or on their dressing table all of the products listed I have re-purchased many times and cannot recommend them enough!

Sleek i-lust hidden gems palette – Superdrug.  I love this pallete it’s so colourful and can be used for all seasons to dress up an outfit or even dress down one. The shadows are pigmented and are so easy to blend with a transition shade.

Sleek Lip Buzz – Superdrug.  This lipstick is such a beautiful colour it compliments autumn so well. It has such a nice shimmer which has to be my favourite thing about it.

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker – Boots. I’m not a fan of lip glosses but I do love this lip gloss the tingly feeling is my favourite it leaves your lips feeling plump and hydrated and is perfect to apply on top of a lipstick which you love.

Soap and Glory Wonderbronze – Boots.  I cannot recommend this enough as it just gives you that bronze glow you need in autumn its such a beautiful shimmer and leaves you with a flawless look.

Soap and Glory Gloss Stick – Boots.  This shade of purple is perfect to apply when wearing an all black outfit as it is capturing and brings that dark look alive.

Dr Paw Paw Tinted Lip Balm – Just my look.  My lips are the worst when it comes to winter however with this lip balm I feel no pain and my lips feeling as good as ever without a doubt.

KIKO Nail Lacquer – Kiko.  Again, I love this shade of burgundy as it is such a pretty colour for autumn and can compliment all outfits of any shade.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip (Tulle) Finally this has to be the one lipstick I recommend most as everyone compliments or either asks where it is from. I love that its matte and the finish of it isn’t at all dry! I do love Colourpop and need another shop on there website!

*Sleek Rockstars Collection!

img_1924 img_1926 img_1927 img_1929 img_1930 img_1933 img_1934 img_1937

I’ve received some amazing parcels this week but my favourite had o be this. The packaging on it’s own got me so excited isn’t it so pretty? Sleek have a new exclusive collection out if you didn’t know already. It’s called the Rockstars collection. You can rock out with these exclusive make-up palettes and lipsticks they even have a highlighter for us sparkle lovers.

Sleek i-lust hidden gems palette – Superdrug.  When I first opened this up I fell in love with all the shades. As on the drug store I personally don’t think bright colours are as pigmented but these are amazing!! I love the brighter colours, but my favourite has to be the gold because especially in A/W it’s perfect to combine with any shade for the perfect sparkle look.

Sleek Lip Buzz – Superdrug.  I cannot stress how much I love a dark lip and especially when it has two tints to it! I love this as it is the most beautiful deep purple with a shimmer of blue within. This is perfect to complement a burgundy outfit this autumn whether that’s casual or even for a night out this would definitely complete the look.

Sleek Strobing Souffle Smoky Quartz – Superdrug.  I love this highlight I haven’t tried a creme highlight and honestly as I swatched this I was so happy i cannot wait to use this! It is such a nice shade and would compliment every skin. It has a lovely shimmer to it, it’s very beautiful.

If you’d like to see a post on a look with these make-up items do let me know below.

Autumn Everyday Make-Up Look!

img_1757img_1755 img_1752 img_1753

As the snow falls and we get out our chunky scarves out the season for bright lips is now over. I’ve changed up my make-up look recently so I thought I’d share with you what I’m using throughout autumn!

3D Lifting Fluid Foundation. Since I’ve got this I love the finish it gives as it is not to too matte on the skin which gives your skin the perfect feel for autumn winter – as it doesn’t feel dry at all.

Daring Look Eye Marker. I have been loving the way this allows me to apply my eyeliner as its much thicker but much easier which was quite surprising but I do love it!

Makeup Revolution Sculpt & Contour – Superdrug. I love this to contour as it’s never too dark and is easy to apply the perfect amount. It adds a lovely glow and structure to your face.

Soap and Glory Khol – Boots. This has to be one of my new favourites I absolutely love this khol on my waterline its perfect to apply and super dark which I love!!

MUA highlighter – Superdrug.  Another one of my favourites as to why I use it everyday is this highlight. For me I have to say it’s the best one on the market it applies perfectly and the pigment is out of this world!

Soap and Glory gloss stick- Boots.  Finally this gloss stick in the nude shade is super hydrating for my lips as well as it looking super soft and subtle.

*KIKO Milano Haul!

img_1439 img_1441 img_1445 img_1447 img_1449-copy img_1451-copy

During the Manchester Arndale fashion weekender we received a goody bag filled with surprises off KIKO Milano! I had to share what I got with yo guys – because I was SO excited as I haven’t tried KIKO out before.

3D Lifting Fluid Foundation. I recieved this foundation which I have so many other beauty bloggers review so I was so delighted to receive it. I did wear it to college one morning and it isn’t matte which I love it gives my skin such a healthy glow which is always a bonus! I cannot wait to do a full make-up look with it!

City Filter Sunscreen.  I was abit confused to what this was at first but then I realised it was a primer with SPF15 which I mean is brilliant for your skin. I haven’t give this a go yet but I have high hopes.

Daring Look Eye Marker. I love my eyeliner. As I’m so used to doing it with my Maybeline one I cannot wait to see if I get to wing it as perfectly with this one.

Water Eyeshadow.  (shade 224) This has to be one of my favourites of the whole lot. I swatched this and it is such a beautiful shade and I mean I took a look at the other shades and they’d be so good for a highlighter. I’m in need of a trip to purchase a gold shadow ahhhh.

Supergloss  (shade 100) I’m not a fan of glosses if I’m completely honest but this transparent gloss look so good over matte lipsticks of any shades it just gives you a bit more of a brighter look rather than the typical dry lip.

Supergloss  (shade 120) This shade is more out there and again it looks so pretty over a coffee nude lipstick which is perfect for this time of autumn as it keeps your lips looking puckered.

Nail Lacquer  (shade 520) Again another one of my favourites has to be these nail polishes as they’re just so pretty to look at never mind them on my nails. This just has such a nice shimmer in the sea green within the blue it is so beautiful!

Nail Lacquer (shade 216) This pastel pink is another one of my favourite shades in winter as I think sometimes too bright in winter is too loud so I do love myself a pastel pink shade within my collection.

Nail Lacquer (shade 240 ) This has to be my holy grail colour for the whole of autumn I cannot keep away.  I’m a sucker for anything burgundy I love getting into the Christmas spirit early as well as matching the autumnal vibes.

Solar Haircare Serum Frizzy hair has always been an issue for my long hair so I cannot wait to see if this works some magic on my frizz. As this would be so much easier for me to style my hair – will keep you updated with how it goes!

Sunless Tan Cream Finally tan cream another product I haven’t tried yet but I cannot wait to tan because I am very pale and I am missing the sun so it’s a good way to get back into the sunny spirit even though its freezing but one can dream right.

I hope you enjoyed this haul.
