Blogmas day 23// Outfit of the day – Casual&Cosy♥

IMAG2581IMAG2563    IMAG2684IMAG2582 IMAG2608  IMAG2644

Hey everybody!

Its nearly here Christmas is around the corner literally guys because there’s only 2 days until Christmas!

Today I’ve got my favourite section of post because its an outfit of the day I know you guys love them plus it feels like ages since I last did one! For my make-up I did a dark maroon lip to compliment my outfit with a neutral base and eye make-up if you want a post on this make up look do let me know in the comments.

Black Rebel Club Jumper – H&M. I couldn’t find the link to the jumper but I’ve included a link to the t-shirt instead but I’m sure you’ll be able to get it in store if your quick, H&M jumpers are my favourite as they’re the perfect fit and just so comfy as well as casual.

Black Skinny Jeans – New Look. Black jeans again are simple yet a necessity in every girls wardrobe but for me they’ve got to be high waisted because that means extra comfy!

Chelsea Platform Boots – ASOS. Again same as the jumper I couldn’t find the exact link but the link I’ve included is a similar pair. I love my boots especially because I’m quite short and they make me look so much taller – plus they’re perfect for winter.

Burgundy Check Scarf – Primark. Finally, my scarf I love it so much. As its so comfy and compliments every winter outfit perfectly.

This is one of my favourite outfits during winter as its cosy yet not too dressy – its just right!

Food Network Giada De Laurentiis Strawberry Santas Christmas Brunch

Hello lovelies!

The clock is ticking and there’s only 4 days until Christmas! Are you feeling festive?? I’ve got another recipe post as getting to that time were snacks and food ideas are getting written down all read and prepared for Christmas eve/day. I’ve got one my favourites which is the strawberry santas which are festive as well as healthy.

Ingredients –

1/4 cup mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
12 large strawberries
24 mini chocolate chips

Directions –

For the frosting: In a medium bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat the mascarpone and vanilla until smooth. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar until the mixture is thick and smooth. Using a spatula, transfer the frosting to a piping bag fitted with a small star piping tip.

For the Santas: Using a paring knife, cut off the leaf-end of each strawberry to make a flat surface. Cut a 1/2- to 3/4-inch piece from the pointed end of each strawberry and reserve as the hats.

Place the strawberries, wide-side down, on a work surface. Pipe a 3/4-inch-high swirl of frosting on each strawberry. Place the hats on top and pipe a small ball of frosting on top of the hats. Press two chocolate chips, pointed-sides inward, into the swirl of frosting to make eyes.

Blogmas day 20//December – I love it, I want it!

Picture1

Hey guys!

The countdown now gets exciting because there’s only 5 days until Christmas! 5!!! It’s the time of the month were I showcase to you what I really love and want and unfortunately this is the last one because in January I want to start another series of monthly posts which will be new and innovative –  so look out for that eek.

1.Slim Pocket Coat – Topshop. This coat is slimline which I love. During December I have been loving the simple and layered look and as I think with this coat the look would be complete.

2.LongTee – H&M. Baggy long tees are just the best to lounge around the house in and if your a blogger its perfect for a lazy blogging day so its essential especially for Christmas time to stay snug and warm.

3.Flecked Jacket – Mango. I think this cardigan is so simple but yet would look flattering over a blouse or smart shirt.

4.Grey Simple Dress – Zara. Again, going with the simple theme this would look super cute with a pair of boots and a waist coat or faux fur jacket.

5.Sleeve Shirt – New Look. Sleeve shirts are a item which I love and could but consistently because you can never run out of ways to style them.

6.Jamie Jeans – Topshop. Recently I have been loving blue jeans ans what better jeans are there than topshop jeans none right?

7.Retro Playsuit  – River Island. I fell in love with this. I saw this in store and oh my god this would be perfect for a Christmas/NYE party.

8.Multi Rip Grey Jean – Miss Selfridge. Again, ripped jeans I’ve been loving and this charcoal grey colour is flawless.

9.Classic Slip Ons – Vans. I have worn my check-board slip on vans to death and honestly I’d love a new pair and what better ones than the all black slip ones. I need them ASAP.

10.Metal Trim Clutch – River Island. This would just compliment any party dress or play-suit and is perfect to carry your minimal party items this Christmas/NYE.

11.Studded Heals – New Look. Finally these studded heals will allow you to look taller and honestly its the lacing that I love.

Hello everybody!

I’ve had the most boring Saturday ever..however I hope you all had a good eventful Saturday ensuring you got all your last minute shopping done. There’s only 6 days until Christmas!

Today’s post is my idea of the perfect night in for A/W and especially as Christmas is occurring cosy nights in are the best at this time of the year.

1// Cosy Blanket to keep you warm – As its winter you need to be cosy on the sofa and there’s only one formula for this and that’s having a chunky blanket to keep you nice and warm.

2// Peanut butter hot drink – Peanut Hottie  I mentioned this in my bloggers review box post. Since then I’ve tried this and I really enjoy drinking it. So to also keep you warm and as a treat have your favourite hot drink whether its hot chocolate, tea or coffee.

3// Favourite chocolate – Maltesers. As another treat have your favourite chocolate whilst watching a Christmas film.

4// Love Heart Scented Tea Lights – Debenhams. Tea lights and candles are a lovely companion as well as having the light dimmed to have the calm and collected atmosphere.

5// Sweet Snuggles Cosy Socks – Superdrug. Finally, have something warm on your feet whether its snug socks or slippers. I got this off my secret santa as well as a few other goodies which I cannot wait to try!

Blogmas day 17//Tips for wrapping presents!♥

IMAG2532 IMAG2534 IMAG2535 IMAG2536

Hello everyone!

There’s only 8 days until Christmas, and time for buying and wrapping gifts is running out. As I was wrapping presents for my friends I thought I’d share some tips for you on making wrapping presents the neatest and easiest way possible for you.

1// Use double- stick tape to speed up your process.

2//Use plain brown paper bags or parcel and add merry Christmas stamp to give it a vintage look.

3//Tie a ribbon around plain, unwrapped boxes for a simple look that still feels elegant.

4//If a present is oddly shaped wrap it like a piece of candy. Pull the sides over the gift and tie it with a ribbon.

5//If you don’t want to wrap the gift place the gifts into a festive gift bag.

d74885c2-4e77-4cb3-84fd-0441e3b5c5b7

Hey guys!

I hope your all smiling and well, there’s only 10 days until Christmas. As I didn’t have time to get some good photos for today’s post I thought I’d do it anyway as I was really excited about and I will post some pictures on Instagram when I get the chance instead. So today I’m sharing with you one of my favourite recipes for one of my favourite things.. BROWNIES!

I thought this would be a perfect post as well as having Christmas just round the corner this would be a perfect treat as it’s quick and easy.

Ingredients –

1 box (1 lb 2.4 oz) of  original  brownie mix.
Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box.
2 to 3 drops green food colouring.
2/3 cup of Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting.
Miniature candy canes and any other decorative sweets or candy.

Directions –

1// Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line 9-inch square pan with foil so foil extends about 2 inches over sides of pan. Grease bottom only of foil with cooking spray or shortening.

2// Make and bake brownie mix as directed on box. Cool completely, about 1 1/2 hours. Remove brownie from pan by lifting foil; peel foil away. To cut brownie into triangles, cut into 3 rows. Cut each row into 5 triangles, see diagram. Save smaller pieces for snacking.

3// Stir food color into frosting. Spoon frosting into small resealable food-storage plastic bag; partially seal bag. Cut off tiny bottom corner of bag. Squeeze bag to pipe frosting over brownies. Sprinkle with decors.

4// Break off curved end of candy cane; insert straight piece into bottoms of triangles to make tree trunks.

I hope you try making these if you do, let me know in the comments with how they turn out.
