Quick & Easy Workout Routine ft. Pink Soda Sport

Recently I have been loving getting back into my daily workouts and I couldn’t be anymore motivated especially since receiving the new Pink Soda Sport gym clothing! So I thought I’d share with you one of my favourite workout routines as well as my favourite gym wear to work out in.

I love the Brushed Metallic Panel Leggings as they’re high waisted and look so good on. I love having fitness leggings which aren’t just the typical black and the mesh detailing looks so pretty too! They’re so comfortable which is such a bonus. You look good as well as feel good.

I’ve also been loving the Tape Longline Zip Up Hoodie as its super long which is perfect for when its cold and you need something to throw on and it can mix and match with any of the leggings and sports bras I mean you can’t go wrong with it.

Next, onto the workout routine I’ve been loving! Do see the info-graphic below too!! It’s a easy 4 step workout which can be done in under 30 minutes every day to help with your abdominal area and legs.

Jump rope // Jumping rope is one of the fastest ways to burn calories as well as it being enjoyable. It improves density which is perfect if your wanting to tone as well become more athletic.

Plank // The plank is a popular exercise to build your core as it builds your strength to sculpt and tone your waistline and contribute to your posture.  Depending on your preference you can try and engage as many parts of your body too. Again this also strengthens muscles and bones.

Weight Lunges // Lunges are effective in engaging your glutes and quadriceps. It also strengthens your legs and arm strength with the use of the weights as by doing two things at once your killing two birds with one stone. By also strengthening your upper body and arms.

Jog & Stretch // Finally last but not least jogging is a vital exercise as it improves your body’s performance in delivering oxygen efficiently as well as allowing muscle toning for the legs and arms. Stretching is crucial when it comes to workout soo always stretch before and after as they stay strong and flexible instead of short an tight.

Selfridges X Everybody Beauty Event♡

Last week I was invited down to Selfridges at the Trafford Centre for the Everybody’s Beauty Event. This was to celebrate the beauty of difference with an evening of festivities, pampering beauty experiences, complimentary drinks and special treats from brands we all love. As well as 15-minute beauty fixes across all counters.

As soon as I walked in it consisted of such a fun and filled atmosphere. I waked around in a circle stopping off at all of my favourite brands. I first stopped at Clarins where the lovely ladies showed me what was best to use on my skin type which was so helpful. I then stopped at Jo Malone where I got a complimentary hand massage. Then my favourite couple of stops were the beauty counters Urban Decay, MAC, Illamasqua and Charlotte Tilbury. I took a look at the Alice in wonderland looking through the glass pallete and honestly I couldn’t want anything more its such a pretty pallete.

The DJ was mixing some great tunes whilst the dancers just outside were performing a routine which was so beautiful (It made me wish I could dance). Drinks and mocktails were being offered and I had to grab myself one! Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves as they were getting complimentary treatments and tips on tricks on any beauty they deemed suitable for themselves.

 I got introduced to TruBe at the event. TruBe is a personal training app, however it is tailored to what your concerns are. They were in store during the event offering guests of the event, 10 minute nutrition and fitness consultation. I went over and met the 2 lovely representatives who told me more on TruBe and what it consisted of. It’s similar to Uber however you select a time and place for your workout then a type of workout such as kickboxing or yoga. Your then able to select your trainer, and get fit! I mean its as simple as that! I will be doing another post on TruBe soon giving you more information so keep an eye out!

Eat Pasta, Run Faster with Vapiano Manchester!

As I promised I’d do another post for you with Vapiano Manchester, however this is slightly different to the previous one. Vapiano are introducing a diet plan, as they teamed up with Dr Sarah Shenker a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist. This diet plan will enhance runners diets for the Great Manchester Run. Sarah states  ‘It’s important to balance your carbohydrate intake with plenty of protein. The delicious pasta dishes from Vapiano can be a big part of your fitness plan whether you’re a runner, cyclist, body builder or partake in any regular sport.

The Great Manchester Run is creeping up on us as its on Sunday 22nd May 2016. This is a good time period for runners to test the diet plan as training for a longer distance race like a half or full marathon, you will need to maximize your glycogen stores by eating plenty of carbohydrate foods 2-3 days before the big day. Vapiano is perfect for this as Pasta Pomodoro is said to top up carbohydrate (glycogen) stores. The meal eaten the night before is crucial in delivering the last top up of glycogen. Also, Rucola ravioli which glycogen stores will be depleted so carbohydrate from pasta is important to help muscles recover. There is plenty of whey protein from the ricotta which delivers special amino acids that are effective in helping to repair the muscles and prevent muscle soreness.

Vapiano is a great restaurant to go to, primarily as there is a variety of dishes to add to your carbohydrate load as this is essential. A variety of pasta dishes are available made fresh for you whilst you watch the magic happen!

Pink Soda Sport Event&New Collection!

Hey guys, I hope your all well and feeling as beautiful as the weather; because I know I am!

Last Thursday, I was invited to come down to Train in Castlefield for a cross-fit session with Pink Soda Sport lots of other bloggers. This was such exciting event to be attending.

During the event I got to wear my pieces (as in the pictures below). They were super comfortable to wear and easy to work out in whilst looking your best! It was so lovely meeting bloggers I hadn’t met before, we had such good session even if it meant I couldn’t move the next day haha! As becoming healthy and being fit has become apart of my daily lifestyle this session was great to enhance both my strength and stamina. Learning how to do new exercises was really beneficial even though I hated the burpees!!
