MAC Nutcracker Sweet Nude Lip Bag Swatches!

The birthday blues haven’t left just yet. My auntie was visiting from London and bought my birthday present with her and as you may have guessed by the title it was the MAC Nutcracker Sweet Nude Lip Bag Set.

This set includes:

  • Lipstick: (Shade: Magic Spell) Midtone mauve nude
  • Lipgloss: (Tuned In) Midtone Rosey nude
  • Lip Liner (Shade: In Control) Brown mauve
  • Nutcracker Make-Up Bag

As you all know nude has to be my favourite colour to wear on my lips! These are such beautiful shades as you can tell from the swatches. You could easily change from what lip liner and lipstick to mix and match the nude shade with.

The lip liner has to be my favourite as it’s just such a lovely colour and easy to apply. This lip gloss is something I cannot wait to experiment with as I’ve been so into liquid lipsticks recently so it’ll be good to have that change. Finally the lipstick has such a nice sheen too it and I do love the colour as it’s similar to the lip liner. I love the make-up bag as it’s the perfect size to slide my essentials into my hand bag or into my bag for college plus its such a pretty bag I mean it’s a win win. Thank you to my aunty who I know reads my blog I love my present!

*Soap&Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lipsticks!

As you may or may not know Soap&Glory released a range of sexy mother pucker lipsticks including satin, matte and shine lipsticks. I kindly got sen a couple of the matte lipsticks which I’ve been super excited to try! There is literally a shade for everyone whether you prefer nudes, pinks or even deep reds. All the colours are super pretty and have something for everyone and can be worn no matter what the season!

The shades I have are:

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lipstick [Super Nude] // I love this shade as its super soft toned, which is perfect when you want a subtle look but have something on your lips which isn’t too loud. This will be perfect for casual days, or days where I just want a natural sort of look.

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lipstick [Pommiegirl] // This has to be my favourite shade it’s just slightly darker than a normal pink which I love the look of on me. I can see me wearing this a lot as its perfect for spring/summer for any make-up look whether that’s a natural one or even an all out eye and lip look.

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lipstick [Fuchsia Proof] // I do love my pink shades and I think this will be good for them bold make-up looks this summer which I will be trying out so I cannot wait to see the outcome of this.

As you’ve seen in the images above I’ve added a couple of other make-up products which I think would compliment all these lipsticks so well. As the Infallible Foundation – Boots is such a great long-lasting foundation which again is matte which would compliment the lipsticks so well. The Waterproof Mascara – French Connection is so good at lengthening my lashes instantly making them look longer without clumping which is key for me. The Multi Blush – Soap&Glory is such a good mix of colours which are perfect to compliment any shade of the lipsticks. The Maybeline Master Precise Liquid Liner  is my go to eye liner, such easy application allowing you to gain that perfect flick. Finally the Ray of Sunshine – Medium Dark is a matte-finish bronzer which again compliments the foundation and the lipsticks to create that perfect soft look.

Autumn Essentials | 2015

Hello everybody!

As autumn is here and the weather is getting colder I thought I’d share with you my autumn essentials and why I need them. I hope you enjoy reading this post as I love reading/watching what everyone else’s autumn essentials are.

1// Baylis & Harding Midnight Fig & Pomegranate Body Lotion – House of Fraser. I received this Baylis&harding gift set on my birthday and I’ve recently got round to using it and honestly this body lotion smells divine I love the feel of it on my skin as its just so light and easily absorbed which I love the most because I hate body lotion which takes ages to absorb.

2// Baylis & Harding Midnight Fig & Pomegranate Bath Crystals – House of Fraser. This also came within the gift; these bath crystals are so soothing to relax with in a nice warm bath the aroma is perfect after a tiring day it helps calm you right down I love them.

3// Makeup Revolution Lipstick Shade: Rebel with Cause – Superdrug. As I’m not to keen on dark lip colours I bought 2 make-up revolution lipsticks to try and once I tried them I was like why I haven’t I tried these before as dark colour lipsticks compliment autumn so well and look stunning.

4// Makeup Revolution Lipstick Shade: Reckless – Superdrug. Again, I went for a burgundy colour sticking with the autumn theme and this looks so nice on and it’s only £1!! You really can’t go wrong.

5// Batiste Dry Shampoo Floral&Flirty – Superdrug. On to my favourite thing ever – Batiste dry Shampoo I love this with all my heart I honestly spend so much on dry shampoo but its worth every penny its so easy to apply to add that extra volume to your hair and especially when your having a bit of a late day and don’t want to wash your hair (which is most days in autumn am I right?) its perfect!

6// Adidas Superstars – Adidas Originals. I am most excited to tell you about these beauties! I treated myself to these for my 17th and I couldn’t be happier. They’re so comfy they look so cool on and can dress up and down any outfit. For autumn I think its essential to have a comfy pair of trainers and these are mine.

7// Selfie Beanie – New Look. I purchased both this beanie and the one below last year and I’ve loved them ever since. I’ve had to dig them out again because its getting colder. They look so vibrant on and keep you warms so its definitely an essential.

8// New York Beanie – River Island. Again, its exactly the same its so comfy and you can style it with any outfit and hairstyle.

9// Burgundy Check Scarf – Primark. Lastly, I purchased this scarf a few weeks ago and I’ve been wearing this quite frequently and I’ve got so many compliments as it just look so classy and its so so warm!! You wouldn’t think its from primark as its super good quality.

Rimmel Kate Lipstick Shade 20 // Review

Hey guys!

Today I’ve decided to do a review on one of my favourite lipsticks. It’s the Kate Moss lasting finish from Rimmel London in the shade 20.

This lipstick is so hydrating and long lasting on your lips. The colour is flawless. It can brighten up a casual outfit any day – this is why I love it. Not as powerful as red lipstick but just beautiful. The colour is vibrant and a gorgeous  pink tone not too bright but a nice subtle pink. I give this lipstick a 10/10 I recommend it if you love wearing pink lipsticks like me its perfect!

Blogmas [day 20] // Winter Favourites

Winter Favourites.

Hey lovelys. I hope your weekend is going well. Christmas is nearly here!!

5 days until Christmas!

Today I decided to let you all know what I’ve been loving this winter/Christmas.

All the things featured I purchased in-store but luckily I found websites were you can purchase everything.

1. Lipsy tartan body bag. I’ve had this bag quite a while it’s a perfect size for me with the little bits and bobs I take around with me. I love tartan print and the colour navy hence why I bought it.

2. Vans sk8 hi animal print. I fell in love with these as soon as I saw them. They have a really nice fit as they’re slim and are so comfy. The colours are so gorgeous together.

3. Batiste dry shampoo. This adds so much volume to my hair leaving it looking so soft and smooth.

4. Grace Cole body spritz. Chantal loves this. She recommended this – it smells absolutely gorgeous.

5. Maybeline 14hr super stay lipstick. This lipstick is my number one essential. I wear it so much its unbelievable. I love it. The matte finish is beautiful. I recommend it.

6. Curls. I have been curling my hair a lot lately. I think they look so nice in winter. As if your hair is straight the wind blows it so it then looks frizzy. However,with curls they stay in place leaving you looking your best all day.
