Essentials for an everyday make-up look!

img_3594   img_3599 img_3589 img_3591 img_3593 img_3595 img_3597

Today I thought I’d share what I think are essential for an everyday make-up look as it’s hard to choose what to use on a daily basis so if you have your set of essentials your using your time effectively to create art and not waste it on deciding what your using.

Nude Saffron Eye-shadow pallete – Amazon.  At first I wasn’t to keen on this pallete but once I started to use it I’ve become more fond of it. The colour are perfect for a everyday look and aren’t too bright. This can be used in many different ways so do check it out.

L’Oreal Infallible Foundation – Boots.  I don’t use any other foundation other than from time to time but I always go back to this one it works with my skin so well I can apply whatever on this as my base and it always looks flawless you cannot go wrong.

MUA highlighter – Superdrug. I kind of forgot about this but recently I have brought it back and cannot stop using it because I’d forgotten how good it was.

Daring Look Eye Marker – Kiko. This eyeliner is perfect to get the most subtle flick I mean it’s almost effortless which I know everyone looks for.

Soap and Glory gloss stick- Boots. I love a good nude lipstick for an everyday look and you can’t better than a gloss stick which makes your lips hydrated and looking their best.

Eyelash Curlers – French Connection. I love having a bit of volume in my eyelashes as mascara works so insanely good with my curlers and does the job perfectly.

Eye Base – French Connection.  Having an eye base is perfect when doing eyeshadow and I’ve recently finished this one which I’m gutted about because it was amazing.

Perversion Mascara – Urban Decay. This mascara I couldn’t hype about anymore because it is so flaming good I mean its next to amazing everyone needs this in their eye make up draw.

Lipgloss – Laura Mercier.  Finally to add that extra sparkle to your lips top it off with this lipstick and honestly you have the prefect makeup look.

*Make Up at MAC | Selfridges

Last week I got invited down to Selfridges to get my make up done at a counter of my choice, I mean this was definitely something I wouldn’t turn down. It was a coincidence that I had a wedding that week so it was a perfect opportunity to get dolled up! The counter I chose was MAC and my younger sister Alisha accompanied me to also get her make up done.

We arrived at the store and went over to the MAC counter and were greeted by one of the make-up artists and given a station to sit at. I then was greeted by the lovely Phoebe who was going to be doing my make-up. After our introductory chat Phoebe asked me what look I wanted to go for. I mentioned that I wanted my make up to complement my outfit which was a mix of a plum purple and a hot pink. We then decided to have a more purple eye with a hint of pink with a vibrant lip. I was excited for the final look.

Phoebe started with my eyebrows by giving them a natural look with the MAC eyebrow pencil. The shape was still there but with a much sharper definition.

Foe the eyes she used the eyeshadow shades, macroviolet, rule, red brick, blackberry and passionate.  This created such a nice combination of the correct amount of pink to purple. One of my favourite parts of this was the glitter to add shimmer from the trolls collection it was in the shade fushcia. I decided I wanted winged liner which finished the eye make up off so well using the precise eyeliner. To add volume to my lashes we used eyelash curlers and then the MAC mascara.

She used the NC35 prolong wear concealer to cover and redness and then continued onto the foundation. Phoebe then asked about how my skin was either oily or dry. As my skin was quite dry we went for a dewy foundation look using the strobe cream first before applying the foundation. The foundation used was the studio sculpt NC37.

For highlight and contour Phoebe used a creme highlighter which I’d never tried before but she recommended it. I was glad she chose it because it was so pretty and super pigmented. For contour we used the MAC studio sculpt this added dimension to my face strutting the cheekbones complimenting the look perfectly.

Finally for the lips, Phoebe lined my lips with the magenta lip liner and used the lipstick amarous which I loved, it was a perfect match with the eye make up and my outfit!

Alisha got her make-up done by the lovely Hannah. She went for a more subtle make-up look as her outfit was cream and went for a neutral eye and a velvet teddy lip. We both really enjoyed getting our make-up done at MAC from the girly chats to learning tips and tricks on make-up.

I loved my make up that night, it was such a pleasure getting my make up done by the lovely & talented Phoebe! I do recommend going down and getting your make up done for a night out or event you maybe attending it’s a perfect chance to try new products and learn so much more about products (I need a shopping trip to a MAC counter ASAP)  and application of make up because I know I learnt so much that I didn’t already know.

*Natural Make-Up Look // The Body Shop.

After a long day, I’m literally drained I need a week just to sleep like seriously. I’ve got a natural make-up look to share with you using one of The Body Shops new releases – Smoky Grey Down To Earth Eyeshadow Palette.

L’Oreal Infallible Foundation – Superdrug. I cannot explain anymore how much I love this foundation so literally just going leave this as it is.

Sleek Matte Me Shabby Chic – Superdrug. Since I’ve purchased this matte lip I haven’t worn any other colour. I love how long lasting it is, you can eat and drink and it’ll still look as good as you first wore it.

MUA Highlighting Powder – Superdrug. This is so pigmented as I’m sure I’ve mentioned you literally glow all day! So it’s perfect for a natural look.

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeliner – Boots. I cannot go without my eyeliner and I’ve recently repurchased this as it is one of my favourites.

L’Oreal Colour Riche Lip Couture – Superdrug. Again matching the matte lip this is perfect to line your lips you could also wear it on its own and it’d look just as good. It also compliments the blush really well.

Waterproof Mascara – French Connection. Waterproof mascara is the best, long lasting and does not clump which is why I love this mascara.

Maybeline Expert Wear Blusher – Boots. As I said this compliments the lips really well and isn’t as strong as a contour on the cheekbones allowing a much more subtle look.

Smoky Grey Down To Earth Eyeshadow Palette – The Body Shop. This pallete has to be one of my favourite make up products it has 4 beautiful shades 2 which are matte and 2 which aren’t this is exactly what you look for in a eyeshadow pallete – variety. I love the colours grey is one of my favourite to apply to my lid this applies really well and has even coverage which is great as it doesn’t look patchy. It’s suitable for vegans and sensitive eyes which is perfect as my eyes are sensitive.

L’Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation♥

IMAG3951 IMAG3955 IMAG3961

The weather is beautiful, I woke up in the best mood today. Life is great. You know when your just having one of them good days which just makes you appreciate everything good around you. I’m having one of them days and you know what it actually is quite good!

For today’s post I thought I’d reflect and just share with you my one love. L’Oreals Infallible Matte Foundation if you read my blog you’ll already know how much I cherish it. I mean every foundation I’ve tried never actually was compatible with my skin as it either made my eyes water or just didn’t stay on all day. However, this foundation is so easy to apply as well as finding your shade I mean there’s not a large range of shades but the shade I use is perfect. To complement this I also purchased the fixing mist which is equally as good – I will include this in a make up look soon.

I apply the foundation with both my beauty blender/foundation brush depending on how I’m feeling but they both work as good. I don’t even have to apply powder as its a matte finish and lasts literally FOREVER, plus you look as good all day as you did when you first applied it. As I’ve always said drugstore make-up is as good as high street and this is a great alternative to MACs studio fix.

You can pick it up at either Superdrug or Boots for just £7.99 and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Eid | Get ready with me♥

IMAG3768 IMAG3769  IMAG3775 IMAG3776 IMAG3781

A blog post that has been long overdue has finally been written. Yay. I have been wanting to do this for the past week but I’ve been so poorly and couldn’t move to even do this. However, don’t worry because it’s finally here. So it was Eid about a week and a half ago and this is the make-up look I decided to go for to compliment my outfit. I did get many questions on asking what I used so I thought I’d put it all in one for you guys.

W7 in the buff nude palette – I did want to go for a minimal look and for this I decided not to go to heavy on the eyes and used the lightest shades from this pallete, a combination of buff and camel. This allowed a subtle colour on the eyes bringing them out a little more.

Collection conceal and light pallete – Boots. I sometimes conceal using the complicated ways (as I say). This light and conceal kit is great perfect for covering up whatever you want. I’ve had quite a lot of redness lately and this pallete helped massively in allowing me to achieve the look I wanted without any trouble at all.

Collection Contour Kit – Boots. As you know recently I’ve been loving contouring and for Eid I went all out! I love the collection contour kit, it’s honestly one of my favourites.

L’Oreal Infallible Foundation – Superdrug. I can’t stress enough how much I love this foundation, you probably can tell as it is in every beauty post. So it’s pretty self explanatory!

Sleek Matte Me Shabby Chic – Superdrug. I bought this recently after a lot of thought and all the good reviews I had read and honestly I couldn’t have made a better decision. It’s such a good shade, it isn’t dry on the lips at all and applies creamy! It’s the perfect combination.

L’Oreal Colour Riche Lip Couture – Superdrug. Again, matching the Sleek liquid lipstick perfectly this allows your lips to look as full as ever.

MUA Highlighting Powder – Superdrug. Similar to hearing good reviews I decided to purchase this I mean it’s not a large amount of money.. £3 I mean you can’t go wrong! I love it, so pigmented and your glow will be fleeking all day.

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeliner – Boots. Again with this eyeliner it’s  my holy-grail as is the foundation. Love. Love. Love.

Maybeline The Rocket Mascara – Boots. Finally, this mascara is very black which I love as I like my eyes looking to the fullest and this allows me to achieve this look perfectly.

Here is a picture of the final look:

IMAG3613 IMAG3612 IMAG3599 IMAG3597 IMAG3579

As you may or may not know Soap&Glory released a range of sexy mother pucker lipsticks including satin, matte and shine lipsticks. I kindly got sen a couple of the matte lipsticks which I’ve been super excited to try! There is literally a shade for everyone whether you prefer nudes, pinks or even deep reds. All the colours are super pretty and have something for everyone and can be worn no matter what the season!

The shades I have are:

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lipstick [Super Nude] // I love this shade as its super soft toned, which is perfect when you want a subtle look but have something on your lips which isn’t too loud. This will be perfect for casual days, or days where I just want a natural sort of look.

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lipstick [Pommiegirl] // This has to be my favourite shade it’s just slightly darker than a normal pink which I love the look of on me. I can see me wearing this a lot as its perfect for spring/summer for any make-up look whether that’s a natural one or even an all out eye and lip look.

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lipstick [Fuchsia Proof] // I do love my pink shades and I think this will be good for them bold make-up looks this summer which I will be trying out so I cannot wait to see the outcome of this.

As you’ve seen in the images above I’ve added a couple of other make-up products which I think would compliment all these lipsticks so well. As the Infallible Foundation – Boots is such a great long-lasting foundation which again is matte which would compliment the lipsticks so well. The Waterproof Mascara – French Connection is so good at lengthening my lashes instantly making them look longer without clumping which is key for me. The Multi Blush – Soap&Glory is such a good mix of colours which are perfect to compliment any shade of the lipsticks. The Maybeline Master Precise Liquid Liner  is my go to eye liner, such easy application allowing you to gain that perfect flick. Finally the Ray of Sunshine – Medium Dark is a matte-finish bronzer which again compliments the foundation and the lipsticks to create that perfect soft look.

Ruby red make-up look!

IMAG0163 IMAG0165 IMAG0166

Hey guys I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine today!

For today’s post I thought I’d do a make-up look I’ve been loving over the past few weeks. It’s a dark deep red lip with a soft blush and bronze with a neutral eye.

Infallible Foundation – Boots. This is my holy grail foundation I mean you just can’t compete with the finish this foundation gives you! it’s also long lasting and is matte which I love.

Wonderbronze Cheek Stick- Soap&Glory. I haven’t stopped using this since I got it I mean I just love a good bronze contour and this does the job perfectly! I love the applicator so easy to apply and just adds perfectly to the whole look.

Multi Blush – Soap&Glory. Again, I kind of forgot about this but since I got back into using it I love it! The rose blush colour is lovely and subtle which is perfect to compliment the lipstick.

Archery Brow Putty Dip And Brush – Soap&Glory. It’s not as though you can see my brows in the pictures below but honestly this is so easy to apply I have it in the shade light brown which is totally the correct shade for my brows. It gives the perfect shape and the applicator is so easy to use and change the intensity of the application.

Maybeline Master Precise Liquid Liner – Boots. Once again same with the foundation this is my holy grail eyeliner. I think I need to re-purchase it as it’s running low but it creates the perfect flick.

Waterproof Eyeliner – French Connection. I’ve been applying this eyeliner on my waterline and I love it. The best one I’ve tried so far.

Waterproof Mascara – French Connection. Same with the mascara I love the brush on this it’s so good at making my lashes longer after I’ve curled them.

Bellapierre Lipstick – Look Fantastic. Finally, my favourite of them all is this lipstick I mean I’ve been loving having dark lips and this does the job perfectly it completes the whole look. It’s super long lasting and gives the most soft but vibrant finish to my lips. Totally in love!!

Hey guys!

I hope your all well and had a good start to the weekend because I know I have! It’s nearly the end of February and its that time where I share with you this months favourites.

Soap&Glory Righteous butter – Boots. // This is just the perfect consistency when applied it’s so soft and leaves my arms feeling super smooth I really recommend it if you haven’t already tried it.

Batiste Original dry shampoo – Boots //  As you all know how much I love Batiste dry shampoo. I always stick to the blush scent but I tried the original this month and honestly the scent is so refreshing! I cannot wait to try them all out because I have a really good feeling about them all.

Pink Soda Sport Panel Crew Sweatshirt – JD Sports // As I mentioned in a previous blog post I love the comfort of this. I love wearing it when working out and its perfect to lounge around it.

Gel Polish – Nailed London // I am recently loving dark colours (as always) but especially on my lips and nails. I just always feel that when I’m feeling cold that dark colour instantly make me feel warmer is this just me? I have recently re-discovered this shade and I’m in love with it.

Wonderbronze Cheek Stick – Soap&Glory // I love bronzer and this has made m love it even more. You don’t need to apply that much product and it’ll look flawless which I love. The application of a pan stick is so easy which I also love.

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte-Lip in Berry Much – Soap&Glory // Finally, again with my love for dark colours this month this berry colour in matte has been super beautiful to add to my make-up looks as it just brings the whole look together. I definitely need more colours in these.

3 Easy Halloween Looks!

PicMonkey Collage

Hey guys!

As Halloween is soon approaching I thought I’d do a post on some easy looks. These are really quick and suitable for everyone I love them because they look super adorable and are so fun to do! For all these looks I will link all the products I used. For all the looks the foundation is the same as well as they eye make up so you can do whichever look simply just after doing the first step!

1. Bruised Zombie Look –

This bruised zombie look is super easy to do. Just do your foundation as normal then add a few dots of eye liner on your face but lightly then blend this with a blush brush giving you a bruised effect. Next do your eye shadow nice and dark and don’t forget to wing that eye liner as well as add kohl eyeliner into your water line giving your eyes a super dark tone. Then with a super thin lip brush apply some red lipstick to it and then draw a crack like line down the side of your face. To finish the look apply some lipstick onto your lips to bring out your eye make up making you look extra scary!

2. Cute Cat Look –

Again same with the foundation and eye make up for this look too. Then using the liquid pen liner colour in the top of your nose. For the whiskers make sure your kohl eye liner is sharp and draw 3 whiskers on each side with three dots next to them. Apply the colour rush lip balm to give it that cute pink effect!

3. Spiderweb Eye Look –

For the final look same again for the foundation and eyes. Next using the pen liquid liner draw a spider web around your eye I decided to do mine on the end as I have a full fringe but if you don’t you can go all the way round which would look dope too. Then apply your lipstick so its really dark complimenting your eyes and spider web perfectly!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Eid // Get ready with me♥

Hey everyone.

I hope you all are well.

On Thursday it was Eid. To everyone who celebrated Eid I hope you had a lovely day! As I promised on Twitter I said I’d do a get ready with me. This is both for Thursday and Friday. As there are 2 days of Eid. I’ve got two outfits to show you as well as two make up looks; you really are in for a treat guys!!

Outfit&Look 1:

PicMonkey Collage

Pink and White Asian Attire – Sai Fashions. //  For this Eid my mum surprised me with this outfit and honestly I couldn’t have been happier. I loved the simplicity of this attire it looked so good on and complimented my figure so well. When it comes to Asian Attire I leave my mum to do the deciding and to be fair she does know best – I loved my outfit! (Thanks Mum). My mum bought this in store at Sai Fashions in Manchester.

Silver Metalic Strap Sandals – Debenhams // I wore my prom shoes with this outfit as they matched perfectly and I didn’t really want to buy a new pair as I knew I wouldn’t wear them again.

Silver Accessories –  Claire’s. // My earings and bracelets I bought matching and were just very simple complimenting the outfit perfectly.

For my make up look I went for a soft eye shadow and quite a bronze glow with a bright pink lip. I thought this was such a subtle but bright look and it matched lovely with my outfit.

PicsArt_1443282396148 (2)

Outfit&Look 2:

Green and Pink Asian Attire – Bela Fashions. // This attire I chose when I went shopping with my mum and I just loved the print and I don’t have attire this colour so I thought it’d be good to try something new. I’ve linked a website where you can purchase attire like this as I bought this in store.

Black Pointy Heels –  ASOS. // For my heels I just bought a standard pair of heels which were a shiny black. These I’m sure I can style with a pair of jeans too so they are perfect for both situations.

Silver Accessories –  Lisa Angel. // For jewellery I wore my accessories from Lisa Angel which I totally love.

For this make up look I went with just eyeliner and again a bronze glow with a bright pink lip. I love having dark eyes with a bright lip as I just thought the black eye liner would compliment my outfit so well and it really did.

I hope you enjoyed reading and seeing what I wore. If you want more posts like this let me know in the comments.
